What do you believe?
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and that we are to use it as our foundation for truth. Therefore, The Meeting Place is built upon the truths we see in scripture.

What is the style of The Meeting Place?
We are very casual and feel very real. We intentionally try not to look too polished or slick, so that people don't think we feel plastic. We have a guitar-driven style of music for our gatherings. Other than that, we are made up of people of every style. High income to low income. Married to single. Young to Old.

What kind of church are you...are you part of a denomination?
We are not part of a denomination. We are connected with a group of churches that call themselves Independent Christian Churches. We structure ourselves based upon scripture and that is where our authority lies instead of a central denominational office somewhere.

Is there programming for different age groups?
Yes. We have something for everyone. For kids, we have great Friday evening programming as well as periodic activities throughout the year. For youth we have a a High School group that meets on Wednesday nights and they also have activities periodically throughout the year. For adults we have weekly home groups.

Is there a singles or College group?
We don't currently have a specific group targeted at single adults or college. We encourage everyone that fits into this description to join in one of our adult home groups that are a mix of married and single people. We also encourage college students to connect to an on-campus Christian group called IMPACT@CSU. To find more information go to: www.impactingcsu.com.

How do I get plugged in?
For any age, our Friday gatherings are where everyone gathers together. If you are an adult or a teen then your first step other than Fridays would be to get connected to a home group that meets weekly.

Can I get a recording of the service?
Yes. We record each service on a cd. You can stop by the information table on Friday evenings to order a copy and pick it up the next Friday evening. Or you can call the office and order one to pick up the following Friday (207-0606). We suggest a donation of $3 to help us cover the cost of the cd, case, and duplicating.

How do I turn in a prayer request?
You can e-mail us prayer requests at any time to prayer@themeetingplace.cc. You can also fill out an info card on Friday evenings with your prayer request and put the card in the offering boxes that are located by the auditorium doors.
